Sze Wing Wong represents clients in a broad range of practice areas including family law, civil litigation, human rights disputes, employment law, and personal injury litigation. She strives to help individuals achieve the outcomes they wish to see whether it be in court or through settlement.
After obtaining her Bachelors of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, Sze Wing spent a few years performing lab research work at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital. From this experience, she has developed various skills to effectively solve problems. She continues to use these skills in her career as a lawyer.
Sze Wing’s speciality is in family law. She regularly prepares court pleadings and Separation Agreements for clients dealing with divorce matters. Since being called to the bar, she has advocated for clients in numerous chambers applications and trials in Provincial Court and Supreme Court. At the same time, Sze Wing understands settlements outside the court system may be the best solution for families.
Sze Wing speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. She understands the cultural needs of different ethnic groups impact the service they need. Sze Wing brings such insight in tailoring her representation for clients to fit their particular needs.
Over the years, Sze Wing has been actively involved in volunteer work for non-profits, including at the Multiple Sclerosis Society in assisting individuals with their Canada Pension Plan Disability and tax credit applications. She also volunteers with the Telephone Clinic at Access Pro Bono.
In her leisure time, Sze Wing enjoys peaceful activities such as hikes, and baking.
