Biography

Michele Ross joined Virgin Hickman in 2019. She is a senior paralegal under Carol Hickman, Q.C., and has worked with Carol for 25 years, most recently at Quay Law Centre, before the merger of Quay Law and Stevens Virgin. Michele focuses specifically on family law.

Michele has extensive experience with all levels of the court system. She helps manage all aspects of family litigation, from strategy through implementation. Michele helps resolve mediations, as support to counsel and by appearing in her capacity as a designated paralegal.

Michele’s extensive activity in the legal community includes her current presidency of the British Columbia Paralegal Association. She is a member of the British Columbia Family Law Unbundling Roster, and she sits on the Advisory Committee for the Legal Administrative Studies Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

In March of 2019, Michele was appointed to the Law Society of British Columbia’s Licensed Paralegal Task Force. She has also volunteered, created materials, and presented for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia (CLEBC) and Trial Lawyers Association (British Columbia chapter) on numerous occasions.
