Biography

Lazaros Morfidis is an Associate-counsel specializing in litigation, commercial, personal injury, real estate, construction, and general law.

Born in Vancouver, Lazaros has lived abroad, including 14 years in Florida, where, in 2003, he completed a bachelor of arts degree in business and criminology from the University of Florida. He then attended the St. Thomas School of Law in Miami, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 2007.

Upon his return to Vancouver in 2010, Lazaros satisfied National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) requirements ahead of being called to the bar in 2013. Before joining Virgin Hickman, Lazaros articled and served as an Associate for two years with a top, mid-sized Vancouver law firm.

Fluent in English and Greek, Lazaros has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court, the Supreme Court, and the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, an independent quasi-judicial body under the auspices of the BC Human Rights Code. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia branch, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.

Whether representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters or any other aspect of his practice, Lazaros prides himself on his dedication and availability, and he understands that his clients expect clarity and practical solutions.
